After seeing it on television, reading about it in the news and hearing the results, I decided to order some in and try it out for myself.

I was really happy to fin out that unlike chemical hair straightening this product claims to not have any formaldehyde, which has been linked to cancer and a variety of other health problems from infants, through to the elderly.
Keratin is the main ingredient and it is put deep into the hair's cuticle taking away up to 95% of frizz and increasing shine, silkiness and condition to the hair.
As a hairdresser I wanted to apply it myself but decided to have it done in my salon by one of my staff members. I highly recommend this because of the time it can take as well as the finished product being better. It can take approx 3-6 hours and it depends on the hair length, shape and body. It took my senior stylist just under 3 hours to complete as it was her first time applying it.
I was surprised how pleasant it was. I was expecting burning or strong chemical smells like alot of the other products out there. The only reaction I had was that it made my eyes water slightly although it smelled of coconut and felt natural.
One of the other factors that I struggled with was not washing or touching it for 72 hours. I couldn't put it in a pony tail or put a clip in the fringe to keep it out of my eyes.
Was it worth the wait? Absolutely! My hair has never felt so beautiful, soft and smooth. It straight away took all of my frizz and it also made my hair really bright.
